Nous Research adds /loop slash command to Hermes for recurring prompts

Nous Research shipped a new /loop command in Hermes that turns any prompt into a scheduled recurring job. The syntax is straightforward: /loop 5m <prompt> re-runs the prompt every five minutes inside the same session, keeping context intact. Omit the interval and Hermes paces itself, polling frequently at first and backing off when nothing changes. It works in the CLI, the desktop client, and every messaging channel Hermes is connected to. For anyone using Hermes as a monitoring agent, this replaces custom cron wrappers and external schedulers with a native primitive. Practical uses include watching a repo for changes, polling an API endpoint for anomalies, or checking a competitor page every few hours. Because the session is preserved, the model can compare current output against prior runs and only surface diffs. Source: x.com/NousResearch/status/2088367838977237029.
