Four people have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a three-month-old girl died while camping with her family near Great Wyrley, Staffordshire.

Four people have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a three-month-old girl died while camping with her family near Great Wyrley, Staffordshire.

Emergency services were called to woodland off Strawberry Lane at around 8.45am on Saturday after reports of a baby in cardiac arrest. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 42-year-old man and 30-year-old woman from south Staffordshire, a 20-year-old woman from Wolverhampton and an 18-year-old man from Walsall were arrested at the scene and have been bailed.

Police say they are keeping an open mind and treating it as an isolated incident.
