On 3 Sep 2026 TechCrunch reported that Meta is selling a contributor pricing tier for Muse Spark, its agentic coding model: users who share prompts and model outputs pay about 95% less. Standard rates are $1.25 per million input tokens and $4.25 per million output; contributor rates are $0.10 and $0.20. Meta frames it as lowering the barrier for prototyping where training on the customer’s data is acceptable. The company has struggled to get training traces after pausing an internal employee-computer-tracking program in June. Princeton’s Arvind Narayanan noted enterprises often stay on pricier plans specifically to keep data out of training; explicit paid consent could change that calculus as labs compete on price.
