AI training-data startup AfterQuery has reportedly raised at a $3.2B valuation — YC’s fastest launch-to-unicorn, ~10× up in five months from a $300M Series A.

TechCrunch (citing Forbes) reports AfterQuery raised a round valuing it at $3.2 billion on 1 Sep 2026, five months after a $30M Series A at $300M in April. YC partner Gustaf Alströmer called it the accelerator’s fastest path from launch to unicorn; founders (22 and 23) were in YC Winter 2025 (~18 months earlier). In April the SF firm said it hit a $100M ARR run rate and named customers including Nvidia, Legora, and Motif Technologies. AfterQuery pays domain experts to encode professional task patterns for training models/agents; the company could not be reached for comment.
