On 9 Sep 2026 The Verge reported that Amazon’s Prime Video is launching an AI-powered feature that lines up an actor’s mouth with human-dubbed audio. It mixes AI and visual-effects tech and is live worldwide on the English dub of German series Maxton Hall seasons 1–2, with season 3 due 9 Dec and more titles planned. Prime Video previously tested AI-aided English/Spanish dubs across a dozen titles; Meta and YouTube already offer creator auto-dub with optional lip-sync.
