“There is quite a crisis of power. The consensus among analysts who follow the AI space closely is that there will be at least a 15-gigawatt power shortfall in 2027 for AI chips.

AI chip production has been rising by roughly 40% to 50% a year, while available power outside China has been rising by only 10% to 20% a year. The faster-rising thing will eventually overwhelm the slower-rising thing.”
