Generally, when you do benchmarks you have a standard that you are measuring the test case against, in this case, Rocket League

I do not do these tests for brownie points or to impress anyone, if you actually read what I wrote I gave all the credit to Astra exclusively.

Of course you can meme all you want (I think it's funny lol) but the reality is this is objectively an impressive result.

Prior to this, language models could build games but all of the 3D models were pretty janky.

And yeah I stand by my statement: gaming is solved.

Obviously you still need to come up with good ideas, stories, characters, mechanics, etc. but the point is that right now you have all of the tools that you need to start building a high-quality game.

If you're a creative with a good idea this is amazing because it means that for just $100 you can start today.

So laugh and hate all you want but it doesn't really matter how you feel about it because AI is here and it's not going anywhere. This is the worst it will ever be.
