On 10 Sep 2026 The Verge reported Slackforce Surfaces: ask Slackbot to build interactive reports, polls, dashboards, presentations, microsites, or other tools in-chat. Slackbot gathers from relevant conversations and connected apps (e.g. Google Drive, Salesforce) within granted permissions, then produces a shareable Surface colleagues can view, interact with, and comment on — including pinning to channels. It extends Slack’s recent Slackbot overhaul and collaborative vibe-coding channels. Available to all customers with Slackbot enabled (including free); live-data Surfaces start in October.
