On 4 Sep 2026 TechCrunch relayed Bloomberg that Nscale (UK AI infrastructure, founded ~2024) is in talks to raise about $3.5B ahead of a possible New York IPO: up to $1.5B in convertible notes (Third Point reportedly leading) and ~$2B in financing from Nvidia. Nscale and Nvidia did not immediately comment to TC. The company recently signed a reported ~$45B Anthropic compute deal and has been telling investors contracted backlog is around $103B (lease projections, not current revenue).
