· opgehaald 05:15

A 22-year-old Las Vegas motorcyclist died after a crash at 8:31 p.m. PDT Sunday at East Windmill Lane and South Haven Street, Metro Police said. Police said a 2014 Mercedes-Benz E350 traveling south on Haven failed to stop at a posted stop sign and struck a Kawasaki Ninja going east on Windmill; the rider was pronounced dead at the scene. Driver Angela Denley-Dick, 55, of Houston, remained at the scene, was determined to be impaired, and was booked; Metro counted it as the 79th traffic fatality in its jurisdiction in 2026. Distinct from the Aug. 21 South Rainbow fatality already on site.
