Clark County commissioners to weigh 450-room Silverado resort south of the Strip

· opgehaald 04:26

Developer Michael Ochoa has filed plans with Clark County for Silverado, a hotel-casino at the northwest corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Richmar Avenue, about five miles south of the Strip. A county staff report describes a first phase with 300 hotel rooms, a 57,000-square-foot casino, food and beverage, entertainment and conference space, and a second phase adding 150 rooms, with two six-story hotel buildings and a five-level parking garage on the 13.5-acre site. County commissioners are scheduled to consider the proposal Sept. 2; land-use consultant Lucy Stewart called the project a substantial long-term investment in the area.
