A complaint filed Aug. 17 in District Court alleges the city of Henderson failed to supervise and intervene in time to prevent the 2024 death of Jaime Chrusch, 36, at the Henderson Detention Center. Chrusch was booked Nov. 30, 2024, on suspicion of domestic violence and died Dec. 6 at Henderson Hospital; the coroner ruled the death a suicide. The city, whose police department operates the jail, said it does not comment on pending litigation.
